UPDATE :)
UPDATE!
Well, I am sitting here having a very large glass of cerveza con limon in this cafe across the street. It's really cute...
Anyways I have made many many travels since my last post.
The second weekend here we went to Segovia to visit the Roman aqueducts. They were huge, still intact, and amazing! They also had an amazing Cathedral which was my 2nd favorite so far. It was so old and all the chapels around the inside of the cathedral had dead bodies underneath of rich royal families that donated that chapel to the church. The height of the ceiling in that cathedral was truly shocking...it was originally built by the romans as well. Truly astonishing. We also went into a castle there, which I really liked. The armor for the old Spanish knight were there, and they were so small and short! Even some of the doors were very small. We had to climb 155 or so stairs to the top of the highest tower.
The third weekend we went to Salamanca, which was pretty cool. We stayed a night there, and there were a lot of chupiterias that gave us free drinks since we were a group of 12. i liked that....
My favorite thing there was this roman bride still perfectly in tact since the first century. And it was very pretty...but there was a lot of tourism.
This past weekend we went to Leon and Toledo and Madrid, which was very fun. Leon was cool because we saw two weddings, and one was in the cathedral. Well, we saw everything but the wedding. We took the train there and that was pretty cool. We had a blast and it was really pretty, yet it was nothing compared to Toledo. Toledo was my favorite place so far. It was very hilly but all the walking was worth it. i'll just have to show pictures. I couldn't take pictures of the cathedral there but it was my favorite from the inside. Although, they charger 7 euros to enter but me and my friend Theresa didn't pay. The entrance guy asked if I had a ticket and I said no...but I said I was just trying to see a little bit. Then i asked if I could go in and he just let me in. It was pretty cool. They had the river running under the cathedral. It was first roman then a mosque then a synagogue and now its a church. The architecture inside is amazing.
I am going to attach some photos, although it takes a long time for them to upload. i put a lot on facebook though so I recommend looking them up through there.

Valladolid!!!
Hi All!
I am safe and sound after this long trip :)
The flight to Amsterdam was amazing, they had surprisingly really good food. Also, they gave us hot towels that nobody knew what to do with. Each seat had its won screen in front and you could watch any movies, tv shows, or play games for free. I was in the process of trying to learn some Dutch...haha that program did not help.
I only slept on the flight from amsterdam to madrid for one hour. Then I took a taxi to ther bus station. tHe driver was very nice and interesting, he was talking to me the whole time. He couldn´t figure out where I was from. I guess I have an odd Spanish accent...or lack of one.
I had to wait at the bus station for two hours by myself, which was a little sketchy but it worked out fine, I kept my luggage close. Another short taxi to the host family´s and I could finally shower! Gosh, I felt so gross. I then met my roommate and the family who are all very welcoming. Then, we took a tour around Valladolid. I finally went to bed around 10 Spain time, which is 7 hours ahead of central time. I´m glad I do not have jet lag!
Today we went to the school for orientation and went on yet another tour of Valladolid. Tonight I will go to la misa and then meet the rest of the classmates at a bar to watch the soccer match, which will be crazy. There is a plaza where they have a huge screen for everybody to watch.
Also, there is no air conditioning anywhere and its about 90 degrees outside.
The people are always all dressed up and stylish. They rarely wear even jeans.
The city is very old and beautiful, it is full of huge, gorgeous churches and old building. The host family gave us a tour and told us all about the history. It is truly amazing!
Our school is an old bull-fighting rink that has been remodeled.
I´m excited to watch the world cup tonight, the entire city will be watching. I am getting a phone tomorrow since they are not open on sundays.
I will take more pictures and put them up when I can, we do not have wireless at home so I must wait till I am in the school :)
LOVE you all!
